How do I use Face Clean?
A. Use about a quarter (coin) size amount. Put this in the palm
of your hand. Add a few drops of water or Hydrosol and make a thick but
spreadable paste. Apply this evenly all over your face (avoiding eye area)
and rub it around, especially over blackhead-prone areas of chin, nose
and forehead. Scrub over youe face for a couple of minutes and, if you
wish, leave the paste on your face for 5-10 minutes if you want a more
intensive detoxifying mask effect.

How well does Face Clean work?
A. We have
many satisfied customers who love their Face Clean and won’t go
without it (men and women). I’ve been using Face Clean exclusively
since creating it about 7 years ago. Previously, before starting Santuary,
I used to regularily visit a dermatologist for a deep-pore-cleansing facial
treatment. Since developing Face Clean Daily Skin Cleanser I can very
honestly say that my skin is better than it has ever been, with no more
need for the facials. I’m now in my early 40’s and people
who have know me for awhile say my skin looks better than it did in my
30’s. Most people who have just met me comment on the healthy glow
that my skin has (and think I’m younger!).

Why do you think your skin has improved?
A. I think the Face Clean Daily Skin Cleanser is a fantastic product

because Face Clean gently exfoliates (removes) the surface layer of dead
skin cells. Getting rid of this dead skin is vitally important to skin
health and appearance. Dead skin cells block our pores, preventing the
living tissue below from getting needed oxygen, moisture and nutrients.
As we age our skin doesn’t replicate its cells at the same rate
it did when we were younger. With ageing it also becomes harder to remove
dead cells as they become more “glued” on. Dead skin magnifies
wrinkles and generally contributes to a sallow, tired looking complexion.

Face Clean doesn’t strip the naturally occurring oils from your
skin as it cleanses, simply, it doesn’t dry your skin out. Dried
out, stripped skin loses its natural elasticity faster and results in
more wrinkles and premature aging. Face Clean protects skins’ natural
surface moisture levels by incorporating emollient type ingredients along

Skin isn’t “squeaky” clean but is gently and thoroughly
cleansed.

Face Clean doesn’t have any synthetic or chemical ingredients added.
These types of ingredients damage skin which ultimately leads to premature

What skin types is Face Clean good for?
A. Face Clean Daily Skin cleanser is good for all skin types, even very
sensitive and damaged skin. Face Clean cleans skin thoroughly and exfoliates
yet leaves skin soft and smooth. Customers have found Face Clean greatly
improves the condition of their skin, regardless of their original skin
“type”. Face Clean restores all “types” of skin
to a balanced, rejuvenated and healthy skin “type”.

How often do I use Face Clean?
A. Based on your personal preference and your skin condition, Face Clean
can be used once a day as part of a health-maintaining skin care system.
It is ideal to get rid of dead skin daily with exfoliation. We don’t
find that Face Clean needs to be used twice a day, but you may do so,
if you wish. For particularily sensitive, unhealthy and/or damaged skin
we may recommend use of Face Clean every other day until your skin gets
used to its restorative effects. Sometimes, when initially using Face
Clean, some customers will experience a few breakouts as they are releasing
deeply stored impurities and toxins through the cleansing process and
as their skin is adapting to a chemical-free product. This occurrence
doesn’t last very long and is actually a good sign (of skin revitalizing).
Once using Face Clean on a regular (daily) basis the stored impurities
and toxins are then continually removed and this is maintained through
with the regular use of Face Clean.
