Q.
How do I use it?
A. Simply apply Teeth Clean Tooth Powder to your dry toothbrush and
brush with it as you would normally brush your teeth. Add a pinch to
your toothbrush bristles or dip your toothbrush bristles into the jar
(if you are the only one using it).
Q.
How much do I use?
A. About a pinch, or as much as will easily stick to the dry toothbrush.
You don’t need a lot. The 50 g container lasts most people (1 person
using it) about a month.
Q.
How well does it work?
A. We have many satisfied customers who love Teeth Clean. We’ve
been using it since creating it about 6 years ago and have never gone
back to toothpaste. We have found over the past few years that at our
regular dental visits, the hygienist hardly has any cleaning to do and
virtually no tartar to scrape off.
Q.
Will it harm my tooth enamel?
A. We have not found this to be the case. Teeth Clean is mildly abrasive
with baking soda and finely ground sea salt as the main cleaning agents.
However, do check with your dentist after a few months of use, as not
all individuals are alike in this regard.
Q.
How does it taste?
A. Teeth Clean tastes better than brushing with plain baking soda, if
you’ve ever tried that! It has the slightly salt taste of the baking
soda, but that taste is well disguised by the natural essential oil flavours
of the 4 types: either Mint, Wintergreen, Fennel or Cinnamon/Clove. Teeth
Clean is pleasant tasting. Most people take about a week to get used to
it then find they can’t tolerate the taste of “regular”
toothpaste.
Sweet
Fennel Teeth
Clean is the sweetest tasting of the four as fennel is naturally sweet
and tastes like licorice.
Mint
Teeth Clean
is a combination of Spearmint and Peppermint, so it is not a harsh minty
taste, but a slightly sweet minty taste. Cinnamon/Clove
Teeth Clean is slightly spicy, warmish tasting and a little tongue-tingling.
Q.
How does Teeth Clean compare to other “natural” toothpastes?
A. We used to use various “natural” toothpastes that we enjoyed,
primarily because we were trying to get away from the chemicals and additives
in “regular” toothpaste. What we found though was that about
an hour or two after brushing with other “natural” toothpaste,
our mouths felt fuzzy (not clean). When we use Teeth Clean our mouths
feel fresh pretty much up until the next time we brush (several hours
later).
