Our products
are manufactured in artisanal style - by hand. We make small batch lots
of products frequently (usually weekly) and guarantee that your products
arrive to you with full potency and absolute freshness. We use applicable
quality control procedures and hygenic lab-type manufacturing methods in
our in-home production facility.  No
synthetics - no preservatives, artificial
colors, artificial fragrances,
emulsifiers, foaming agents, petroleum-derived ingredients, coal tar,
formaldehyde releasing by-products, solvents, over processed (refined)
ingredients, ingredients subjected to extreme heat, cosmeceutical or inexpensive
cosmetic-grade ingredients, no testing on animals, no animal products
or by-products (except beeswax) in any Sanctuary Botanicals’ products.
Honesty
& Integrity: we have signed the “Truth
In Labelling Pledge” with the Natural Ingredients Resource Center
and are on PETA's “No Animal Testing” list. We aren’t
here to make false claims or promise our products will perform miracles.
We simply want to supply top quality, chemical-free, effective products.
Life on a shelf: Sanctuary
Botanicals products will retain their high quality for approximately 6
months from the time you receive them – aka their “shelf life.” Our products
don’t have forever shelf lives, but do have a reasonable shelf life given
the purity of the ingredients. Since our products do not contain chemical
preservatives, please ensure that water/ bacteria does not enter product
containers. Q-tips are great applicators re: Face Oil, and Eye Butter.
Products keep best in cool, dark conditions, in other words, not on a
hot, sunny window ledge or other heat source.
